About Ski Hill Road Lodge

Susan and Hamish Tear live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, East of Driggs and on the other side of the Grand Tetons.  They moved here five years ago with their two teenage sons, Cameron and Frazer from Vail, Colorado.  Whilst there, for twenty years, the Tears created and operated a Scottish/Irish specialty importing and retail business called ‘Scotch on the Rockies’.  If you ever visited Vail, it was centrally located in the Sonnenalp Hotel near the Covered Bridge.  Hamish is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, hence the connection.

Now they operate a property investment and rental business, of which these lovely town homes are a part.  The Tear family are all avid out-doors people, and moved here to enjoy skiing, rafting, hiking – and Susan is especially fond of horse-back riding.

Susan and Hamish are dedicated to your comfort and will be happy to advise you on where to go or what to do.  An added bonus is that Hamish will be happy to row you down a scenic section of the Snake River in his 16’ Raft, as part of his business Snake River Rowing Service.
