(best for wildlife) 'breakfast' float,
or a 'dinner and sunset outing (also good for wildlife
and photography). Lunch trips are available too, or just
a straight run down the river.
Interested
in fly-fishing? Hamish is at your service to row your boat.
His raft is fully-equipped for fishing or he will row a
rented dory from one of the many local river outfitters.
Although not a fisherman, Hamish rows for many of his friends
while they fish - it's a good deal!
You are in good hands: Hamish has been an out-door guide almost all of his life.
Starting in Scotland (his home) as a mountaineering and sailing instructor for
Outward-Bound, he also instructed sailing and open-water kayaking for Outward
Bound in Zambia. When based in Vail, Colorado, Hamish was a back-country ski
guide on the Tenth Mountain Hut System for twelve years, a ski instructor for
Vail Associates, and, locally, he rowed commercially of the Snake River for the
first of his five seasons here.
Hamish's other accomplishments include trans-oceanic 'blue-water' sailing and
mountaineering on many continents - but that's another story...
